Come, experience the love of Jesus during one of our common worship services which includes a mix of traditional and modern music; lessons from God's law and His Gospel that He gives freely to all. Experience the love of God's people after the worship service as you participate in Hope's "Happy Hour"; A time of community where people share a snack or brunch, talk with old friends, and meet new ones. You'll find yourself welcomed by the family that is Hope Lutheran Church.
As Hope's Happy Hour winds down, you're welcome to stay for a Bible Study or like some of our members, you may choose to leave.
You will find people who want to meet you where you are at any of our worship services, programs or activities. Our members are the Hope family. They strive to be humble, caring, supportive and interested in getting to know you and everyone who comes through our doors. The people of Hope strive to be respectful, physically, emotionally, and spiritually present for all, including you and your needs.
Sometimes the hard things that show up in our lives seem more than we can cope with on our own. Everyone has times like that at one point or another. That is why Hope Lutheran Church holds weekly Celebrate Recovery meetings; a 12 step Christ centered program designed to help individuals overcome those hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Find more information here or just show up at our convenient Philips Hwy location on Saturdays at 9 AM.
One of the greatest gifts God gives us in times of suffering is the support of others. While our instinct may be to withdraw and handle our pain alone, God created us to live in community. He places people in our lives who can help carry our burdens, offer encouragement, and remind us of God’s love when we are struggling to believe it ourselves. Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” It is both a privilege and a responsibility to help one another through difficult times. Whether through a small group at church, close friends, or family members, surrounding yourself with people who will pray for you, listen to you, and walk with you can make a world of difference. If you are suffering, reach out to someone you trust or participate in Hope's 12 step Christ centered "Celebrate Recovery" program.
As you walk through the trials of life, remember that God’s peace is available to you. Philippians 4:7 promises us that the “peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This peace doesn’t always make sense in the middle of hardship, but it is real, and it is a gift from God. Often that gift arrives through people like those you'll meet at Hope. Do yourself a favor, and come, heal with us!.
James 1:12 encourages us with these words: “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” God’s love and hope are even greater. His comfort is not distant; He is present with us in every tear, every prayer, and every moment of heartache. He sees us, knows us, and walks with us through the valley, providing us with strength when we feel weak and offering us hope when despair seems overwhelming. Begin to feel His presence in your life by participating in a group Bible Study or a Life Study like those at Hope. Such studies help us understand how God's Word can have a positive and lasting effect on our lives that lead to an ability to experience a joyful fulfilling life.
May you be reminded of God’s faithfulness. He is the God who brings hope to the hurting, who comforts the brokenhearted, and who promises that all things will one day be made new. So take heart—no matter what you’re facing, God’s love is greater. Trust Him to carry you through and know that He is with you every step of the way. Hope would be honored to help you in that journey.
