During the series, we will watch each episode and discuss how that episode impacted us individually and how it relates to our individual Faith journey.  We will spend two study sessions devoted to each episode.  At each session, we will watch about a half of the episode's video, then dedicate the other half to discussions.

Season 4 Trailer

The Chosen Season 4 Interactive Bible Study:

Discover the way God's Goodness eclipses our suffering.

We see it--if we're looking:  the Bible promises that God brings good things out of bad things for the sake of His people and for His glory.  But truth be told, when we personally experience suffering, we have a difficult time believing it.

God's Goodness for the Chosen reveals how God uses suffering to bring about good in the lives of those He loves.

The Way God's Goodness for the Chosen eclipes suffereing is an eight-lesson interactive Bible study for individuals or small groups that works in tandem with each episode of the show. In modeling "the narrow road that leads to life" it includes:

  • Death is eclipsed by LIFE
  • Grief is eclipsed by PRAISE
  • Questions are eclipsed by RESOLVE
  • Confusion is eclipsed by GRACE
  • Temporal things are eclipsed by ETERNAL THINGS
  • Heartbreak is eclipsed by LOVE
  • Contamination is eclipsed by DEDICATAION
  • Resistance is eclipsed by RECEIVING

God is truly using this series, its cast, crew and staff to further his work here on earth.

The Chosen is the first multi-season series about the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. Primarily set in Judaea and Galilee in the 1st century.

The series is Biblically and historically accurate and makes use of "artistic license" in a way that focuses more deeply on those who encountered Jesus and views him through their eyes. The director, Dallas Jenkins,  presents Jesus in a way that is more "personal, intimate, [and] immediate".  The viewer drawn into the story line and experience Jesus and his disciples as they likely were during that world changing ministry.

Season 1

introduces us to key figures such as Mary Magdalene, Nicodemus, Simon Peter, and Matthew. It focuses on their personal struggles and the transformative impact Jesus has on their lives. The season covers Jesus’ early miracles, His teachings, and the calling of His first disciples, culminating in the powerful encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well.

Season 2

expands on the disciples’ journey as they grapple with Jesus’ growing fame and their own internal conflicts. This season highlights the challenges of following Jesus, the spread of His teachings, and the miracles He performs, such as the healing at the Pool of Bethesda and the calling of Nathanael.

Season 3

explores the disciples being sent out by Jesus and the tensions that arise from His teachings’ reach. It also portrays Jesus’ return to His hometown, where He faces skepticism. This season is noted for its fictional elements and mature themes, including the complexities of faith and leadership.
